Maverick Model# ET-732 Thermometer Troubleshooting

Wondering if there is a fix someone can suggest or if it is time to start looking for a new thermometer.


I bought the above mentioned thermometer about five years ago. The Remote receiver has started acting up and only works some of the time. Sometimes it does come on when I press the power button, but the digital display is not all there. Sometimes it doesn't come on at all. Yes, I have cleaned the contacts and replaced the batteries. The transmitter works just fine, so I am in no dire need of an immediate solution.

So is there something I can do or try, or is it time to get a new thermometer?

Is there a factory reset button? Thats all I can think of. . .otherwise it's time for a new one

Battery?
Maybe time to replace. There are and improved out there.

I had one like that. Mine also died after about five years. I was satisfied with it though. Much better units out there now.

I've had one for about 10 years & it worked great until a couple of years ago. It won't alarm when it reaches min & max temps. The temperature readings have been a little off so I have to use my thermoworks thermapen to double check readings. I think we both need a replacement.
