    What does the up keep look like? Oil, beewax, and etc.

    Just buy one, you will never regret it. Get a good cutting board oil and maintain it. You will hand it down to your grandkids. . These are all the Boos boards you can find on Amazon and they are eligible for Prime shipping.

      We periodically oil ours down with mineral oil, letting it soak in a few hours. When I have felt the need to clean it I scrub it with baking soda and a half lemon, then re-oil. Works great. Others use vinegar.

        Texas Larry I agree. Mineral oil works well. I always wash mine off soap and water after cutting raw meat. Then reoil. Have kept it looking like new for 15 years.

            Thanks for all the input. I ordered an 18x24. I also got the cream and oil. Now it’s time to head to the butcher for something to smoke so I can use it
