    Anyone use these

Anyone use these prep boards and tubs with covers? I am wondering about functionality, durability and frequency of use. Any guidance is appreciated.

Yes. I have the original size. I love it and use it nearly every time I fire up a cooker. I highly recommend.

I have something like it. It's large enough to hold 3, 8 lb pork butts halved. I like it for those big cooks, but they don't come often enough for me. It's nice that it collapses for storage.

These ones seem better because they are collapsible. The product has gotten universal praise here.

Jfrosty27 One of my reasons for considering it is I make a mess when sprinkling my rub on. Does it help contain the rub?

I lay out saran wrap when applying rub. Then you can fold it up and the stuff that fell off adheres to the meat for little to no waste.

texastweeter I have no Saran Wrap technique. Whenever i pull some out it clings to itself before I can get it to cling to something else. I keep thinking there is a secret to how to do it that everyone knows but me. There must be since people keep buying it.

If you have granite countertops, it sticks to that. Pull out a little, stick it flat to the edge of the countertop, and then use that tension to pull the rest you need off the roll. It will lay flat then

My neighbor has them and when she gave me some tomatoes, she put them inside one of these. Thought it cool, but when I sat it down, it partially collapsed and a big, ripe, fat tomato fell off out of the collapsable container, off the counter and hit the floor . I salvaged the tomato, but it was distressing watching it fall. My ninja reflexes failed me in catching the tom. So I am a bit suspect of these containers......FWIW.

Have a set that I use regularly. What I like is that one end can be raised higher than the other allowing different sized meats to be marinated at the same time.

Okay! Thanks for all the feedback. Between those who have them and use them and those who haven’t yet pulled the trigger, I’m sold! I notice there are different companies who make them, but I think I will stick with the Drip EZ which I believe is the original. My wife is going to appreciate the no mess, and it will be nice to carry the meat out to the grill and have the meat covered without needing to use aluminum foil to keep it covered.

I believe you will enjoy your purchase. I have bought several over the years, one just last month. My problem is that when someone remarks how handy they would be I end up giving them mine and ordering another. Just got the XL version 2 and Kathy told me I’d better hang on to this one.

I use a 3.5 gallon Rubbermaid food grade prep bin for my rub-a-dub-dub procedure purely to contain the rub. Those look very cool, especially if you’re a Clemson fan. P

I to use the XL for rub prep. Wife bought it to prevent kitchen mess. Still make a mess. Just a little less. My opinion not hers. LOL

I have a couple of the large drip ez tubs. I use the all the time. Taking stuff to the grill, seasoning, cutting. I have had the for a few years and they are pretty durable
