I recently saw the Facebook post from Meathead about the Wolfclaws for pulling meat and have a similar set called Bearclaws. Very useful and "as advertised" functional. However, as a man who has spent his life doing rough work with his hands I have found that pulling meat can be a somewhat painful chore. While I still do serious construction, and work through the every day aches and pains, I used to literally dread the time I would have to pull meat. Using forks became out of the question and I would defer to others to handle that task. I bought the bearclaws, and it helped, but I recently stumbled upon these at an outdoor store http://meatrake.com/ and pulling meat is no longer a chore. This is not a sales pitch, but if you have some arthritic digits you might want to check them out.

Thanks for the tip CaptainMike! I've never been a fan of the bear claws (or other similar tools), they just look clumsy to me. I'll admit that I've never used them either, so I don't have any first hand experience....
The meat rake however really appeals to the engineer in me, they look super smart. Might just have to pull the trigger and get me a pair.

Henrik I have used the claws, and I am not a fan. A couple of forks are just as good, and hands even better if you have gloves that can protect your digits from the heat. This does look interesting. I think I'll stick with my current setup, though.
