The last time I used one of my All Clad SS pans, the bottom wasn't flat. I tried pressing on the bottom to flatten it, but that did not help. And I wasn't going to take a hammer to an expensive pan, so I emailed All Clad. After several emails back and forth, they sent me a prepaid UPS label so they could "inspect" the pan. I was hoping that the lifetime warranty would cover flattening the bottom. Eight days later, I received a brand new pan, and another lid! That's my kind of customer service.

I honestly think there should be a "Good Customer Service" category. One of the many great things about The Pit is that I have noticed people post "good" customer service stories as often as poor service. If you go around the web that is really not the case. Folks just like to voice complaints elsewhere. Glad you had a good experience!
Post it under Member Reviews main channel, which you did. The thing is it's tough to balance the creation & having of subchannels with their need. Add a channel and hope to populate it, or create a channel once there's a clear need...hmmmm.
Huskee - totally understand the problem. Trying to balance how and where things go is a never ending job and one that I don't envy. Maybe some day down the road instead of a sub-category we could move to a search engine in the site that populates things like this. That however, is a monumental task.
All Clad is above my pay grade, but an online retailer, (name forgotten), went out of business several years ago and I snagged mine for less than 1/2 retail.

I have had similar experiences with Emril, but all clad is in my opinion the platinum standard in this category. I personllay use all Emril in my SS cooking, best bang for the buck to me.
Farberware. Dang got a LOT of it and it has been fabulous until I melted the handles off! LOL. I have always needed something that can go straight from the stove to the oven.
lonnie mac - one of our favorite chicken recipes is started on the stove where you brown the skin, and then it goes in the oven to cook. I am not used to this at all and can't tell you how many times I latched onto that ~ 400* handle bare handed. You'd think the pain would be enough to sear the memory into my mind, but it wasn't. I now lay the insulated handle cover on the oven door so that I will put it on as soon as the pan comes out of the oven...
Yep! Me too. Man I have left my whole hand print stuck to a 500 degree cast iron skillet handle from the oven. Needless to say I didn't make it all the way from the oven to the top of the stove!
I go to Bed Bath and Beyond quite a bit and just stare at all the All Clad. Funny, this reminds me of my "A MAN HAS NEEDS" Vlog I did not long ago towel shopping LOL!
love the hangers on your scooter! Are you referring to league city TX? Gotta love a good sammich!!!! (my wife makes the best ones when she is barefoot and pregnant) LOL at the moment with the hipster on the street fighter crotch rocket! hey, at least he rides, I don't anymore... .
