Always a good one. I did that to my mom's Griswold griddle when I was a kid. She told me to do the dishes and I did, I didn't know any better. I have that griddle now and I use it all the time.

Oh that is hilarious!

In the mid-2000s, I taught digital video production. I wanted to change it up one semester so for the final project, I had the student teams write, film, and edit a spoof of their favorite TV show. Several did Law & Order in that manner and they were just hilarious. There is something about serious dramatic show with a rigid formula that just lends itself to parody.
