Love skillets. I'm going to look up the manufacturer. How will they be used and how are they better than what you already have?

I'll be using them for searing steaks and fish mostly with the occasional blistered green beans, fried eggs, skillet potatoes and such. They're better than my CI skillets in that they heat up faster, cool off faster and are much lighter. My cooktop is glass too which makes these safer.

Crisbee puck (love those things) made excellent work of the seasoning!

Yep! Already seasoned them both last night with the puck and let them cool in the oven. I'll probably do one more round when I get home before using them.

I bought a set of those thru kickstarter n waited 16-18 months with nearly zero communication about what was happening.
Was to be a four to six month wait. Great pans, I had given up on ever seeing them.

I did see some comments on Reddit about a year ago from people stating their experiences with customer service was very poor. Luckily I haven't experienced this. Ordered the pans online during a sale last Friday and they arrived yesterday (Wednesday). Less than a week with a holiday included.

Is this the carbon steel? I would like a decent carbon steel skillet because the CI is so darned heavy. I have an old camp skillet that my Dad seasoned and gave to me when I got married. He told me I needed a good bacon and eggs skillet.
It is thin, and warped over time.

Yes it sure is carbon steel! I wanted something lighter than my Lodge skillets and that reacted quickly to increases and decreases in temps.

Chrisbee... another item added to my list, along with these pans. You guys are killin' me.

Nice. I have a couple Made In pans but in stainless…they’re top notch.
My CS pans are Mafter Bourgeat but given the quality of my stainless pieces…I have little doubt that they’ll easily perform as expected.

FWIW, I generally use All-Clad for my stainless…but needed a new saucier…and the only thing in stock at the time, in the size I wanted was the Made In…so I figured it was worth a punt. If I hated it, I could send it back. It’s a keeper.
