Nice. I have some old Revere Ware from my parents. I should do that too. Anything else besides steel wool, like bartenders helper.

The new to me formula Barkeepers friend for cookware works very well. I got tired of the old green non-stick cookware we had and bought a complete set of Revere ware on eBay. We had 1 piece of revere ware from my mother in law that I loved so I bought a whole set. I haven’t regretted it a minute.

Beautiful! My mom had a couple pieces, I remember a large saucepan and a smaller skillet. I had them briefly after she died, I'm certain one of my thieving sisters now harbor, but I vividly remember my mom "polishing" the copper bottoms with ketchup. She said the tomatoes and the vinegar did the trick. I don't know if true, but those were great pans, and I'm sure they are still in good use *somewhere* some 50+ years later.

My Mom had a few pieces of that too. The kettle still survives after all of these years.

I used vinegar, salt, and a scrubby on this 30+ year old (never cleaned) Revere pot. Took a little elbow grease too. If it’s lightly tarnished this will melt it away quick.

I also use this method to clean copper contacts in trailer hitch connections that corrode quickly exposed to the Gulf climate.

All my revere ware came from my grandmother. Except I replaced one lid from eBay.

We have some from the MIL. I'll have to give this a try. Thanks!

Pretty make-over SheilaAnn -Love this thread! When my mom kicked me out of the house she bought me a set of Revere Ware that I still use to this day. I lost the lid for the 8 quart stock pot somewhere along the way so let me know if anyone has an extra.

Those are nice! Is it just the outside that has to be done, or inside as well? I don’t know if I’ve ever seen this brand in person???

                    Really nice looking!

Inside usually doesn’t need it, unless you seriously burned something. Ask me how I know! BF is notorious for cooking stuff way too hot 🤦🏼‍♀️
