Lots of posts about carbon steel pans lately and rightly so. Love seeing the posts about DeBuyer‘s stuff, practically works of art.
But I never see any mention of Darto, I have 3 of their pans and absolutely love them. 3mm thick and flawless in their symmetry and the way they season. Have used them on stovetop, gasser, griddle, offset, and over charcoal for 3-4 years now and I love ‘em.
Best part (imo) is they are stamped from a single piece of steel, so no rivets! Rivets are a pain when you want to wipe/scrape out a CS pan. Or maybe the best part is their prices, which are incredible. (they’re a tiny little Argentinian company so the US$ is practically gold for them). And made in (the) America(s)! 😀
As noted - I’ve got 3 pans, which were 3 separate orders, all received in perfect condition in 5 days or so, ready to season up. Definitely worth a look: https://www.dartointernational.com
