    Eunice, Frying Ribeye Steak on a 10" Round Cast Iron Griddle w/ SS Dutch Oven Cover

    She Griddle Fried a +- 1-1/4 Lb Rib Steak, 1-1/4" Thick from Prime Cut Meats Fargo ND! The Steak Had Been
    Dry Brined with Kosher Salt, Granulate Garlic Powder, Granulated Onion Powder and Tones Rest Grind Black Pepper❗️ After Brining the Steak was Vacuum Packed and Frozen for Over One Week❗️ Yesterday She Defrosted It, Sprinkled the Lodge Griddle With Kosher Salt on a Medium Heat Stove Top Burner❗️ She Covered the Sreak and Griddle with a FarberWare SS Dutch Oven Cover, Monitored Temps With a Thermopen Classic and Turned the Steak at 120* IT and Removed it
    at 145*-150* F‼️ Pretty D--ned Good, Do to Good Coaching❓

          Ya know Dan.... I never thought of cooking on one of those. Here we call that a "Comal" and use it to heat our tortillas on. I've had one forever and never thought of cooking on it. I think I many have put it on the grill once before but that's about it.

          I'd eat that steak! Love the mushrooms too. Is that a package of mushroom gravy I see on what looks like mashed taters? Love that stuff but don't eat it. Yum!!

            Don't knock it till you try it. I have a comal too...just opened up some ideas... I use instant tater flakes to thicken chowders sometimes.

          Looks awesome! Nice how to. I have two smaller rib eyes in the fridge now that are hitting the Griswold iron tomorrow for dinner. Supposed to be tonight but I forgot to pick up a side at the store today.

              Only 13" here Dan. No so much for an old MN farm raised guy! Lucky me we have a garage for all the cookers and 2 cars. Please don't ask how many cookers-thanks.
