Very nice pick up. I don't own any Piqua yet. I need to get more involved on EBay. I am mostly a Craig's list guy.Mr. Bones

My Finex 12" was delivered yesterday, I didn't get a chance to unbox it until today and I'm very disappointed. The lid rocks on the skillet at any position, there's one spot where the rocking is minimal but it still rocks slightly. This is not what I expect from a $280 skillet, to say the least.

I've contacted Finex, waiting to see what they say.

Don't worry, Spinaker, I definitely will. I run a small business and know all about the "Do a good job I might tell a friend or two, screw up and I'll tell everyone I know and a few more" thing.

Spinaker , have you experienced any similar things with lid to pan fit?

The Finex 8 does not have a lid. My Finex 10 lid is well matched to the skillet - no rocking whatsoever.

I got the cheapest one you could get, I don't have a lid with mine, But I would be looking for a replacement in this circumstance. And it better be prompt.
I love my Finex #8 but this would not make me happy.

Got an email from Finex a little after midnight(10:00 PM Pacific time) letting me know they were sending a replacement. I didn't really expect to hear from them until sometime today, it looks like the people who own Finex are serious about taking care of their customers.

        Now I'm waiting again.

        Thanks,
        Bill

They are great skillets.👍 I just love sharing knowledge about everything cooking, so naturally Cast Iron and the old care they require is is prime time for me. Thanks for the kind words my friend.
