I am amazed!! After 30-Plus years, the bottom of my beloved Dutch oven started to chip.
I struck it up for dead as a tear dropped from my eye. But then I thought maybe there was some hope. Could it be restored? Could it be traded in? So I googled it. Lo and behold, there is a lifetime warranty! They asked me to send photos. Within 24 hours, it was confirmed covered.
Six days later, this was on my doorstep!

Retired, living in Western Mass. Enjoy music, cooking and my family.
Current cookers Weber Spirit 3 burner with a full insert griddle added. A 22" Kettle with vortex, SnS and a Smokey Joe. The most recent addition is a Pit Barrel Jr with bird hanger, 4 hooks and cover. ThermoWorks Smoke 2 probe, DOT, 2 ThermoPops and a Thermapen MK4. A Thermoworks RFX Gateway 2 probe meat thermometer.
Nothing like a lifetime warranty from a company thatโs been around longer than my life. Good chance theyโll still be in business when my DO needs โfixing.โ
I was reading online about Le Creuset vs Staub. Looks like Le Creuset is very good about replacing chipped pots, and Staub is more likely to deny a claim on a chip. I'll be looking more closely at Le Creuset in the future even though I love my Staub dutch oven.
