Maybe if the enamel quality is gets better then I might buy one for that price. I have a red lodge and the enamel started pitting after a couple years and I have a le Creuset if found at thrift store for 50 dollars that is much older and is still I great shape. At that price point I would just stick with the le Creuset. And the Lodge site says made in the USA with imported hardware. I guess if they used a screw and steel knob made in the USA the price would have to go up from 349 up to 400?

22" Weber Kettle w/SNS, 18" WSM, Bronco, Grilla Chimp, Traeger Tailgater, UDS, Camp Chef Tahoe Stove.
I was in the Lodge factory store in South Pittsburg yesterday. The US made Dutch oven is a beautiful tool. It is heavier than the Chinese made pot too. Rigt now there aren't any plans to discontinue the Chinese made pot. I almost bought one of the US made ones; i am posting a new thread about my visit and the customer service. Which was excellent.

Jerod Broussard I have heard that too. Actually my girlfriends son's girlfriend's family is in Lodge management. I haven't played that card yet... Hopefully they'll get married and I won't piss my woman off
