Current cookers Weber Spirit 3 burner with a full insert griddle added. A 22" Kettle with vortex, SnS and a Smokey Joe. The most recent addition is a Pit Barrel Jr with bird hanger, 4 hooks and cover. ThermoWorks Smoke 2 probe, DOT, 2 ThermoPops and a Thermapen MK4. A Thermoworks RFX Gateway 2 probe meat thermometer.
I just ordered this for $19.90 with free shipping. Amazon $32. Nowhere else at this price. I've been bookmarking recipes in the Lodge Cast Iron Nation book I recently purchased. This particular recipe calls for this to cook in. The recipe is baked sausage and potatoes with roasted red peppers. All and all this could get expensive overtime. A lot of the recipes call for C.I. cookers I don't have. I'll need to tread this very carefully.
Nice pan!
Just started isolating a couple of pans that will only be used for Outdoor Cooking
I CI Dutch Oven and 1CI fry pan is the starting point--not sure I need a bunch but that might be a good option
My Lodge 12" CI skillet and my Lodge 5.5 quart dutch oven are my personally most used pots and pans, for both inside and outside cooking. I have a larger 7 quart DO but it's a fancy porcelain covered one that I would hesitate to use on the grill or in a fire.
That is my situation, we have some nice Le Creuset DO and I agree with my wife that we should not be using those outside....I have a 16" CI skillet that I use indoors
And that is why I need a couple of pans dedicated to outside cookin"
