My wife calls me "Teddy" and I call her "Princess" and that's where "mrteddyprincess" comes from.
Amazon is probably a dangerous convenience. I'm planning to have my parents over for surf and turf this weekend, and I asked myself "What can a steak restaurant do better than I can do?" The answer to that was serve the steak on a sizzling platter.
Two days later the set of four was delivered. I spent time today seasoning them and I'm pleased with the results.
I of course love smoked meats of all kinds, but also like quick cooks like chicken portions, pork tenderloins, steak and fish. Really into cooking of all kinds.
My outdoor kitchen has a Lone Star Grillz Adjustable and it is wonderful. There also is a Pit Boss 5 Burner Ultimate Griddle and a Pit Boss Copperhead pellet grill.
There is an outdoor fire pit that has grilling capability and limited Santa Maria-style grill raising and lowering.
There was a Bugs Bunny cartoon, the one where the opera singer irritates him, and Bugs Bunny shows up to the concert later that night and begins directing the singer and the orchestra. At one point Bugs is making the singer hold out a sustained high note and Bugs leaves his white glove up in the air holding the baton while he leaves the facility and mail orders some unknown product. Two seconds later and delivery guy on a scooter shows up and says "Package for Bugs Bunny!" It's ear muffs.
Just remember that if ya heat those plates above your finished temp, the temp of your steaks will rise. You can pull the steaks early if you think you can come up with a method to figure how much the temps will rise on the hot plates.
Yeah - I am thinking you pull the steaks a bit early and put them on the heated platters. These look like what I get my fajitas on, and those are always good at the local Mexican restaurants.
