Found a 10.25 inch, 2 handle, "Wanderlust Series" skillet for $12.95 at Cost Plus. 1/2 price!



I'm sending my daughter back to school this weekend, so I asked her what her "last supper" (before return to dorm food) would be- "Chicken fried chicken, please!"

So that's what I cooked, perfect match for the new skillet.

Fabulous! Love that camp scene stamped on the skillet. And that chicken looks great. I remember the first time I saw "chicken fried chicken" on a restaurant menu, and asking the server, "Is that from the Department of Redundancy Department?" Blank look...

Its apretty basic recipe, but good lord, the cleanup! Flour and oil everywhere. Reserved for special occasions only
