Hey all,
I have a 22 year old enameled cast iron dutch oven. (It is one of Emeril's rebranded All-Clad line from back in the day.....hey it was a phase I had lol.)
The lid is one of those with tiny peaks on the underside such that evaporating liquid will adhere, condense, and drip back down into the dish. I've noticed that the enamel has broken off the tips of some of peaks. It's only a few, so it isn't like I have huge pieces of exposed iron.
Is there any safe material that can be "painted" on to touch this up?
Here's what the underside of the lid looks like. You can clearly see three black dots where the enamel has broken off.
