My parent’s got me one for Father’s Day I believe, and I love it. Some hot water and gentle rub gets off anything a wipe down won’t.

I have not noticed any issues with using it since I got it, and I use my CI pans often.

I have one and it did strip seasoning off a new pan. Now I am much more gentle and it works well.

I like mine if something is stuck that I want to remove. I always do the hot water rinse first and then if needed progress to the Ringer.

I just realized I have the one ComfortablyNumb linked, not the one Murdy linked.

I use it. You can pretty much scrub away on the rough surface cast iron, but be gentle on the smooth stuff. Use your head. I toss it in the dishwasher every now and then, but it doesn't really need much care, if any.

I use Dawn Power Wash. In a small bowl, Dawn and scub. Then rinse.

I used a plastic scrubby. You don't usually need to aggressively remove stuff from the CI and if I've seared on some stuff, I soak it in water while I"m eating and come back to it in a couple of hours. Assuming the pan is well seasoned, that's fine.

I have one and like others use it gently for stubborn caked on bits. My first go to is either salt or green (Scotch Bright?) pads.

Got one and love it. Doesn’t hurt my well seasoned cast iron, but it will mess up my seasoning on my carbon steel, which r much newer compared to the cast iron. If I do use it on carbon steel I am more cautious.

I use one for my Lodge cast iron skillets and dutch oven, and its good for getting stubborn stuff off, and has not damaged my seasoning to-date. I've also used it on my Camp Chef griddle a couple of times when there were bits of stuff cooked on.

Been wanting one for a while. I recently read that people also use them in air fryers on top of food to stop splatter.

I've used one like that for several years. It works well, I don't have any trouble with it.

Have it, use it along with the other methods folks have mentioned with their cast iron. Lodge sells it in their store, so it should be somewhat authorized, one would think.

Hadn't thought about using it to help with cleaning grill grates -- great suggestion that we'll try come springtime grill-cleaning season! (I think there's a version where the rings are wrapped around a scrubby sponge, but that seems unnecessary vs using the parts by themselves)
