    My new tongs

After Spinaker posted about his tongs, I tried finding them. Not sure if the oned linked below are the exact same ones, but I like 'em. There is a little flex if ya squeeze the handles fairly hard, but they should work for everything I cook. I do like that one of the blades is bent a bit towards the other blade. That helps gripping whatever. And the flat side easily goes under the product to loosen it if stuck to the grate.

I like them enough that a bought a shorter pair for using inside.

Gotta say, I looked twice. Thought it said "thongs". I like the looks of those Ron.

I believe that I may be close to the last person you want to see in a thong.

That would be a Panhead John post.

Pretty sure Meathead mentioned he picked up a whole brisket with a set of those.

Love 'em for loading wood into my vertical.

Yeah, I do remember him saying they were good for moving wood in a fire pit and such.

That's what I have mine for.

    I own 2 of them.
1 for grilling/flipping, the other for picking up lit charcoal to put it where I need it.

I do not think they make them anymore. These are very similar, but they don’t have the same gripper. These ones I have are more of a grapple end, instead of a spatula style. Probably fine for food, probably even better. I like the ones I have because you have the ability to pick up logs and big chunks of charcoal.

Just make sure you click them together a couple of times before you pick something up with them. No telling what could happen otherwise.

Hey! That was me when I tried to separate the point from the flat when I was trying to cook a briskie on my gasser.
