New barbecue <$750...please help me spend my $$$! : - )
I had a Weber Genesis E-330 (model with side-burner) and loved it - GREAT results with it. THANKS TO AmazingRibs.com and all of the great reviews, I have an idea what I'd like. From most to least expensive, all at Lowe's: Weber Genesis II 3-burner @ $699 ; Broil King Baron 5-burner S590 or 590 @$699 ; Char Broil Commercial Tru-Infrared 4-burner @ $499.
What are your opinions about these? Among these? Others?
Thank you!

I wish you the Best in your quest, but have no gasser expertise.
That is why we keep many, more gasser-informed members standin' in th' wings, for jus' such an occasion!
We are disappointed in the new Genesis. See our reviews. I have one and can't get a good sear on a steak. Love everything else about it. So if you have a charcoal grill for steaks, go for the Genesis.

I currently have 4 grills 2 gas (Weber spirit 700 and Weber 1000) 2 charcoal (Weber master touch 22 and PK360). I also have a cast iron hibachi and a joule Sous vide. I have multiple probe thermometers , MK4, Smoke, 2 chef alarm, ThermaQ and thermaK and a thermoworks IR with K probe port. for knives I love my Messermeister Olive elite and my TojironDP Gyutou. which I keep razor sharp using my edge-pro. I also have a weather station to keep an eye on good Grilling weather.
Just out of curiosity, what happened to the E-330?
I was wondering when that question was going to be asked! It's alive and well at my former house, which I am now renting out. (It was the natural gas version, and I don't have a gas hook-up at my new house.) So, now, I get to buy another grill.
I would have gone straight for another WEBER, but the AmazingRibs reviews piqued my curiosity about the BROIL KINGs, and then I saw the CHARBROIL TRU INFRARED as well...
The BROIL KING 5-series is about 6" wider and 2" shallower than the WEBER 3-series, which is attractive to me. Also, the BROIL KING has 2 more burners than the WEBER does, so my hope is that the BK would make a great 2-zone cooker.

As a Weber Summit gasser owner, I'd say you can't go wrong with Weber. Great customer support and quick response. As if you'll ever need it which I have used exactly twice in over a bunch of years!
I have a 10 year old Weber Genesis whose bottom firebox became slightly warped due to a lot of intense heat over time. Called Weber and they immediately sent a replacement firebox on a TEN YEAR OLD GRILL! And a new ignition lighter came with it, even though the old one was still working. Now it's like new all over again.
So as others have said, you certainly can't go wrong with Weber, and it'll last.
