Hey folks, wondering if someone here might be able to recommend a source to obtain a custom stainless steel grate for my Good One Open Range. The supplied grates on this grill are expanded metal, and they work fine in the upper cooking chamber away from direct heat but are not to my liking when used in the charcoal chamber for searing and direct grilling. At that high temperature they sag really badly, and the seasoning burns off resulting in a lot of rusting which is a PIA to try and take care of. I’d like to get a properly sized SS grate to just sit on top of the current grate structure, avoiding the need for handles and all that, so essentially it would just be a simple rectangular grate of a certain size. I do have some extra Grill Grate branded units sitting around that could be cut down to size, but really would prefer something having the normal open bar structure of a typical grate. Thanks!

Jerod Broussard Hi Jerod, thanks, wondering if you have corresponded with this company recently? I was working with them on this very application in late 2024, sent dimensions to finalize specs etc, but my last messages to them to finalize the order and make payment went unanswered, so I assumed they had gone out of business and I gave up.
