Is anyone aware of a Plancha that will work with the Weber Summit Charcoal Grill? The WSCG is listed as having a 24" diameter (although I measured mine and the grate actually measures 23"). SNS has a Plancha with a 22" diameter. Not sure if the SNS Plancho would work sitting on the WSCG Grate being as it weighs 23 pounds. Thoughts from others?

I mean, it sounds like you already have a good solution. I am not sure what the concerns are around the weight, as anything that big is probably going to weigh a lot, no matter what the material.

Hansaker Smokers offers two round Griddle Plates made of 1/8" Carbon Steel for 22" & 26" Kettle grills, the diameters are 21.5" for the 22" grills and 25.5" for the 26" grills. I think the weight of the 22.5" griddle plate is just over 12 pounds, and they are priced at $55.00 (21.5), $68.00 (25.5). Not sure if they are shipped free or not, but I've been debating if I really need one for my Weber Summit Kamado since i have an old Lodge15" flat cast iron pizza pan that i currently use as a second deflector plate when cooking low and slow but at 275 to 300 degrees
