I love exploring new BBQ places on vacation. My wife and I ate at Rocco’s Smokehouse, not far from Colonial Williamsburg. The thinly sliced brisket with Rocco’s sauce was like meat candy melting with each bite and ribs were solid. I liked the pork with the bourbon sauce but they had Carolina available. The beans had meat and a very little corn, onion, and peppers that was a pleasant twist on BBQ beans. I tried my wife’s chili and it was quite good. Service was good southern hospitality.

One of the many places here in Virginia we want to visit, but didn't get to because of that little pandemic situation. Only starting to venture further afield nowadays... but so much we haven't seen here in the NoVA/DC area. I do have a friend/colleague who lives in Williamsburg whom I know would be delighted to show us around down there though...
