Coop’s West Texas BBQ in San Diego

Great little BBQ place in Lemon Grove. I found it pretty authentic and very high quality meats. Tried the beef rib, spare ribs and brisket. A bit of Texas in CA.

I go back & forth on wether Coop's or Gran Ol' BBQ are the best in town. Can't go wrong either way. There's another place in Poway I've heard good things about, but I haven't tried it and the name escapes me at the moment.

ETA: I'm sooooo glad that Coop's didn't shut down a few months ago. Coop is a lovely human. I need to make a run out there soon.
