Congratulations! Your going to love it! My first piece of advice to you is read the Kamado threads on how to master fire control on a Kamado. You will find this to operate quite different from a standard kettle and quite similar to a Kamado.
I too was an an early adopter and bought it n the first month it came out. While I would have loved to save $400 like you did, I still believe it to be a good value at the $2000 price point and have no regrets for my purchase. Bottom line is you got a great grill at a fantastic price!
