This month we spent the first hour discussing barrel cookers. The second was open to Q&A on anything and free-for-all. Panelists were:
Noah Glanville -- Noah is the Owner and President of Pit Barrel Cooker Company. A few years ago Noah Glanville returned from military duty in the Middle East with a new perspective on the value of life. He wanted to create a product that would bring families and friends together in a meaningful way. He was a big fan of BBQ and thus, the Pit Barrel Cooker Company was born. The success of the PBC is a testament to Noah's heart for community, hard work and quality results in all he does. It is the most popular barrel cooker on the market.
Christie Vanover -- Christie is the editor and publisher of GirlsCanGrill.com and the pitmaster for the KCBS team Girls Can Grill. She is an expert at cooking on drum-style smokers including Hunsaker, Gateway, Bronco Pro, and Barrel House competitively and recreationally.
Clint Cantwell -- Clint Cantwell is AmazingRibs.com's Senior Vice President, charged with a little bit of everything. Cantwell was named one of the "10 Faces of Memphis Barbecue" by Memphis Magazine in May 2015 and was the winner of the Travel Channel's "American Grilled" nationwide cooking competition series. He is the pitmaster of Smoke in da Eye competition barbecue and grilling team. He lives just outside of Memphis.
John "Spinaker" Bowlsby -- Spinaker is a star moderator on AmazingRibs.com and an editor of Hot From The Pit email newsletter for the Pitmaster Club. He cooks on multiple devices, including three Pit Barrel Cookers. Spinaker is = an expert on cast iron cookware and how to restore it and he lives near Minneapolis.
Max Good -- Max Good is the man in charge of finding the best products for the AmazingRibs.com Equipment Reviews section. He is the only man in the world who tests grills and smokers for a living and has cooked on more than anyone in history. He also makes and sells Black Swan BBQ Sauce.
Meathead -- Meathead is the barbecue whisperer who founded AmazingRibs.com, by far the world's most popular outdoor cooking website. He is the author of "Meathead, The Science of Great Barbecue and Grilling" ( https://amzn.to/3e02Bod ), a New York Times Best Seller that was also named one of the "100 Best Cookbooks of All Time" by Southern Living magazine. He coined the term Sous Vide Que and is the author of the book "Sous Vide Que Made Easy" ( https://amzn.to/2TedY3X ). In a previous life he was a syndicated wine critic for the Washington Post and Chicago Tribune. He has taught at Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration, Le Cordon Bleu in Chicago, lectured at Yale, and he has judged food, wine, beer, and spirits all around the world.
