flyingpiglet and I really enjoyed the tasting. Can't wait for the next one. All of the barrels had something going from them, but we were finally partial to 83.

Of course we had to order bourbons and maple syrups right afterwards. Just for presents, don't you know.

That was fun. My ranking was 82, 81, 83, 80. But it was damn close.

I agree. I truly liked each one, but for me I liked each one in succession better than the last.

I have my kit and will be joining tonight! Funny story: Yesterday I left home to drive to my vacation home in Virginia for the holiday weekend. I got about ½ hour away when I suddenly remembered I had forgotten to pack my tasting kit. I got off the highway, turned around and went back to get it.
