Once, out of the blue, Danjohnston949 sent me a grill cleaning tool. He said it was based on my honest answer to his poll. I thought to myself, "who sends something of value to someone they don't know for no particular reason and with no strings attached?" The only conclusion I came up with was that that person had to be good, decent and just a damn nice guy. Needless to say, I was very interested to hear this and put a voice to the name. I think this interview proves my initial assessment was correct! Dan, I hope we both make it to the Meet Up, bc I want to buy you a beer. I could listen to your stories all day long. Great interview, you ol' cremator!
PS the tool works great!Last edited by JCBBQ; July 8, 2017, 09:53 AM.

Oh, my! Danjohnston949 , you made my day. I was looking forward to this PitCast, but kept getting distracted by too much. You've reminded me of why the Pit is so incredible.
I hope I can get to Memphis! Loved the stories. Reminded me of my family in Tennessee. Can't wait to shake your hand.

What great fun! I'm glad I woke up before all the other hoovarmin this morning so I could listen. Danjohnston949 I especially appreciate the advice you gave to Greg to lean ladders against the windows to avoid having to pay for weddings. I live in a 1-story house so I don't need ladders, but I am going out to purchase 4 step-stools this morning.
