    Zuppa toscanna soup

    Here is a simple recipe that is low carb and very good! We use half Italian sausage and half regular bob evans sausage, also cook your own bacon (not pieces in the package)

      Looks delicious! What do you think about smoked sausage? Do you think the smoke would overpower it or do you think it would add a nice complexity to it?

        I think smoke could add a nice complexity to it for sure, but i think it would need to be very light, i would might just give that a try next time maybe with just 1 lb. Of the original sausage....nice thought!

        marshall - I’m bookmarking this to try this winter. Based on your recommendation I may cook the sausage over an oak fire or I may smoke it over oak. Thanks!
