    The Chili is on...

    I got a cast iron pot full of Malcom Reed’s chili that is simmering in the Kamado Joe Big Joe at this moment. I’m made it exactly according to his recipe except I added chopped jalapeños to it.

      No beer Nate just what the recipe called for. It’s going to be good if it tastes as good as it smells.
      I will not be adding beans though.

        DWCowles Please take a pic after it's done. Curious what kind of consistency it has when cooking it that way. When I made it, it tasted fantastic, but was kind of soupy. I used a crockpot instead of an open pot. I personally prefer a thick chili.
