Never tried psilocybin myself ... and I'm guessing that more than just the stalk turns purple if ingested ...

      Boil em, make tea...
Then, slice em up, put on pizza, or in pasta sauce...
      Or, so I've heard...

Here's is the source I plan to buy morels from: https://www.oregonmushrooms.com/c-2-...mushrooms.aspx

Here is an article I found that causes me some disappointment: https://www.oregonmushrooms.com/c-17...mushrooms.aspx

    And a confirmation: https://science.howstuffworks.com/10...x-alcohol3.htm

Anyone of y'all have a problem with alcohol consumed with morels?

I did some digging and I found a few pics from one of my hunts, last year. I love taking my nephews out on the hunt, they are getting really into it. Wyatt, found his first one last year! All by himself too! Such a good kid!

not gonna lie, this thread is half freaking, half grossing me out. Im only just starting to enjoy the most basic of store bought mushrooms. Most of my life i have really disliked the texture although i have always enjoyed the flavor you get from a mushroom stock.

No, is that a thing? I feel like it could be in Sconi. You never know what can go down on that side of the St. Croix. LOL

Well it was a pretty good hunt today. I found about 20 Morels. This spring has been cold and wet, making timing a lot more difficult this year. But they are popping in our area now. Gonna head back out tomorrow.
