Do you put salt on corn?

In response to this post on salt on watermelon:

Hope I am putting this on the right channel. Watermelon, cantaloupe, etc? Do you salt before you eat? It is a raging debate in this area.

Do you put salt on a corn of cob? My mother in law does and it’s disgusting. Never even knew it was "a thing" until I took a bite of that nasty stuff.

Yes, that is after it is cooked. I do not dry brine Corn on the cob.
I also put salt in my beer, sometimes.

Iced cold draft beer, dash of salt, tip of the shaker on the rim and down the hatch.
        Pure gold.

beer nut on the side. if that counts.
On a hot day in AZ, add tomato juice to beer.

Being a saltaholic, yes shakers full of salt with pounds of butter.
Now that I've reformed no salt just butter.
Never been a fan of pepper on corn.

Did you mean to say "Cob of corn" or Corn on the cob"? Of course you salt either!
