I am sure I'm not the first to come up with this idea; one the left is a Grolsch beer bottle and the right is an emptied peppercorn container from Bed, Bath & Beyond.

I prefer the Grolsch bottle because it seals securely with a rubber gasket like a champ - not to mention the excuse to buy and empty more Grolsch bottles!

This way it is easier to make larger batches of spice mixes and be able to safely store them for months!

Really any old glass container with a secure lid (or cork) will work. Just soak in hot soapy water for a few hours if the labels don't want to come off easily. Worse some to worse you can use Denatured Alcohol or Acetone for tough spots.
