Mr. Bones I have a set of Meatrakes that are pretty ergonomic for shredding, but after about about 5 minutes with forks, bear claws, or hand pulling my hands will ache the rest of the day/night. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PfbvJOUKpVM

Great idea, especially for those of us with arthritic hands. Will be trying this on the next one.

I have dough hooks for my hand mixer. I think it might even work better.

Too bad you couldnโ€™t put it in a warm corner, cover it in plastic wrap and come back in an hour and have it double in size !!!!!! ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Nate get yourself a bar stool and sit on it. Takes all the strain off the back. I know..

I would say a big benefit here would not be hurting your back. My back always hurts after hunching over too shred a few pork butts... counters arenโ€™t high enough for me.

I cook 2 butts at a time, after snacking/tasting/trying on the first one there's very little left
    Family gets the second one

Certainly quick and easy! Too bad I do not have one of those mixers. Itโ€™s still the bear claws for me. Plus I get to nibble as I go. ๐Ÿ˜‹
