    Comparing Two Smoked Pork Belly Burnt End Recipes

    My wife has always LOVED my smoked pork belly with Killer Hogs The BBQ Rub so I thought it would be cool to make a video & have her blind test a recipe that also featured Meat Church's Honey Hog rub. The difference in flavor between the two recipes pleasantly surprised me.

    Great video. I used Honey Hog when I made pork belly burnt ends for Christmas: http://completecarnivore.com/how-to-make-pork-belly-burnt-ends/. It is pretty much a perfect rub for pork belly burnt ends where you want them to almost be overly sweet.

                  I think MMD works well too, just add a touch of cayenne honey at the end for a glaze

                    I don't think I have ever made this recipe the same way twice. I always add something or leave something out. The good thing is.....its pork belly, if you keep that a constant, you really can't go wrong!
