I did a couple of 3-4 pound Chuck roasts and a pork butt this weekend. I cook a whole bunch on the weekend and bag them up for lunch all week. I had to chuckle because I swear the chuck roasts reduced in size by about 50% it seems. Way way more shrinkage than the pork butt I was doing at the same time.
Both turned out great though. I did my home made rub on the butt and just salt and pepper on the chuck roast. I feel sorry for all my co-workers eating their crappy fast food.
