    Last Meal Ribs - BGE Cool

    Since the recipe comments were bare, I thought I'd share my cook here (for better or worse). I am cooking 3 racks of spares and 2 1/2 racks of babybacks for my daughter's birthday dinner tonight. I put the spares on at 1:00 pm (ballpark 5+30 cook) and am adding bbabybacks at 2:30pm. Pictures to follow fo course. I cook them all flat on an Adjustable Rig. Cheers!

    My experience on a LBGE has been around 5 hours for BB's and 6 hours for spares.

      Thanks...looking like the longer side of the times. But smoker has run tight at 210-220 all day. About an hour until dinner target, letting smoker up to 250

      I’ll second that, unless you’re cooking at 275.

    I cook spares on a pellet cooker at 250* and never take more than 5 1/2 hours total. That includes 1 hour in pink butcher paper. I gave up on BB's a long time ago.

      It went well. They were not my best ribs but I think I may have pulled them off a little early.

    My spares went on at 1:00 pm, my babybacks went on at 2:00 pm. I stopped taking notes as the party started but they all came off around 6:30 pm. They tasted great. I think they could've cooked a touch longer to
