    "Pulled" an all nighter...

    First smoke through Webbie.. man I almost forgot what a PITA these things are on a long smoke. The pellet eater has made me lazy..

    I just did my first overnight pork butt on a Big Green Egg with a Flame Boss 300. I don't know if I could sleep if I didn't have that setup. I could never maintain such rock solid temps on a kettle. That surely looks like it was wroth the effort!

      I hear ya.. I have an original Japanese Kamado and a big ole pellet eater, both of which hold rock solid temps. The ash buildup in these are a PITA

      The snake method can hold pretty steady temps on the Weber, but I rather do overnights on my BGE.

      Not sure there has ever been a point in which beauty sleep could scratch the surface with me.. which is why I just cover it with battle rattle and move on. The Tri Tip was as good as I have eaten though.
