So much for a no cook weekend

Well I wasn't going to cook this weekend but I had some changes of plans. Sooooo I found a couple of BBR's in the freezer and after removing the membranes and dry brining for 20hrs. I hit them up with MMD. Fired up the LSG and away we go. Click image for larger version

Kinda what happened. I wound up having some free time and I just gravitated to my pit. Really can't think of anything better to do.

I'd be very happy if a weekend was bad just because I had to cook.

There sure as hell can be much worse days Ron. We all know that.

Ok I've decided to go the 3-2-1 method for this cook cause I wanted a "fall off the bone" cook this time. And my wife likes it better that way. Gotta make her happy sometimes

Seriously I didn't post this yet. Anyway after 3hrs. I wrapped them with about 4oz apple juice each for 2hrs.
1 of the racks are already falling off the bone.

Awesome Aaron. It's gotta be kinda cool being able to rule over peoples lives like that.
LOL. I'm just having some fun. I know you take this very seriously and I,we appreciate it.
Thanks for all you guys do here in the pit.

Good thing you didn't get an 84" model, that's $1200 worth of temp gauges.

Jerod you continue to crack me up.

Now here's a deal, I'll buy the 84" and you bring it up to me. My first cook will be, I don't know maybe 4 or 6 briskets and you can take home the leftovers.
            Not so bad huh??
