Any advice for side ribs?

Sorry, I missed the Canadian source. According to Canadian Living, side ribs are what we call spare ribs.

Spare ribs are located further away from the back (baby back) ribs, so it would make sense to call them sides.

Everything is named different here in Canada and it often confuses me when looking for recipes.

Then I would guess that "side ribs" is another name for spareribs.

If you're talking pork, then that sounds like another name for spare ribs. If you're talking beef, then that's short (or plate) ribs. Cook 'em until probe tender, like always.

Any advice for side ribs?
Had a friend ask me how to smoke some side ribs and I didn't really have any idea. All I've ever done is baby backs and St.Louis. Any tips?Tags: None
