FireMan - looks great! Glad you finally got to do the cook, and sorry to hear you were dealing with other departed friends. I think I've been to more funerals in the past 2 years than in the whole rest of my life.
On the cook - I have never, ever done country ribs. Sounds like time to remedy that!

- Upstate NY, by upstate I don't just mean 30 miles north of NYC ;-)

My current cookers include a Shirley Fabrication 24x36 patio model; Weber Performer with the Slow-n-Sear 2.0 & Drip & Griddle; Pit Boss Series 2 propane smoker & SnS Travel Kettle.
Straight Whiskey: I'm a bourbon guy. All time favorite Pappy Van Winkle 12 year. Standard go to Blantons
Blended Whiskey: James Oliver American Whiskey
I also enjoy an occasional cigar

I did ferget to add that I used Meatheads Pork Rub vs Malcom’s rub that he so proudly displayed. I guess I have to watch more NASCAR & fit alla endorsements in. I also put some cherry wood & hickory chips in the grill grates. If anything there might have been a wisp of smoke. Still fightin those things. This might be the last of em. Just can’t git the hang of em.
