    Pulled Pork carnitas style

Hey crew, i've been wanting to make Cuban sandwiches with some carnitas style pulled pork, any have a recipe recommendation?

I use this recipe and love it. Careful with the peppers, they can be pretty hot but that adobo sauce is amazing. I also add some cumin, that is my go to spice for 'Mexican' food.

I have done it using pork shoulder in my PBC, it turned out great. I modified a standard marinate and braise carnitas recipe. Essentially I marinated a 7 LB pork shoulder in the following:

      - 8 cloves of garlic
      - 2 table spoons dried organo
      - Salt and pepper to taste
      - 2 tea spoons onion powder
      - 1/2 cup of fresh squeezed, pulpy orange juice
      - 1/8 of a cup of olive oil

Marinating it over night did the trick, the orange juice permeated the pork and all the seasonings stuck to the shoulder. I smoked it to 203 with a little bit of hickory wood and then pulled it.

My wife makes home made doilies, you can use tortillas as well. Top with a little bit of cilantro and some chopped tomato and you have some really great carnitas.

When I did this I also did a traditional BBQ pork shoulder at the same time, all my friends said the Carnitas has become the new standard.
