This was Meathead's "grilled pizza" (dough seared direct neccid, flipped, loaded, and finished direct) not "pizza on the grill." A bit of a Keystone Kops experience trying to load the toppings quickly and moving the pie between direct and indirect to prevent torching it, but overall we were pleased. But I might now understand Meathead's point--it didn't taste like a "complete pie," rather like grilled dough with veggies on top. Will try again, next time sear at the rear with raw toppings. Cheated by buying pizzeria dough, but it was fantastic ($3 for 1.5# refrigerated disk).
