all - wondering if anyone can recommend an herb combo to make a board sauce for a tri tip im going to cook for Christmas? Im generally familiar with the board sauce concept - but just looking for more specific recommendations to make it right the first time.

Don't forget there are herb infused oils you can use as well as other flavored oils. I always keep a bottle of lemon infused olive oil and chili pepper infused olive oil around. Last tri tip I made I used the chili pepper infused oil and added some cilantro and red pepper to it. Made some great taco's!
