I have never heard of black garlic until now, sounds like a long process. I made fermented garlic last year it was good but my wife did not like the strong garlic smell.
Anyone here make their own black garlic? I've been looking into doing some and so far the 2 options I've seen that I like the best are:
Oven bag in my Instant Pot on Keep Warm (low) setting.
Plastic wrap, 2 layers of foil in my Instant Pot on Keep Warm (low) setting.
Any other suggestions? Note that I don't own a dehydrator so using one of those is not an option. I'm leaning towards number 2 for my first attempt as the only thing I'd need to buy would be the garlic. :-)
