RickyBobby I was curious because I was the Army Recruiter for Kentridge and Tahoma from 94 to 96 ..... later, after retiring from Army, I liked it here enough to permanently move and settle in Maple Valley.

ecowper , I want to say that we moved there in 1996 or 1997. I graduated from Kingwood in 2000 and was there until 2003 when I joined the Army.

RickyBobby when were you a kid in Kent/Covington?
Yep, I normally would go out to the reservation. My neighbor and I used to put on the greatest fireworks show in Maple Valley until the council banned fireworks in the city limits.

I will surely share this recipe...Here we go..
4# coarse ground pork
2TBS salt. I use sea salt.
2TBS fennel seed
1TBS black pepper
8oz grated Reggiano
1 8oz can no salt tomato sauce
I mix the dry ingredients except the cheese in the tomato sauce before mixing it in the ground pork.
I use 28-30mm sheep casings for a thin sausage..It will crisp up nicely when cooked..

ecowper , I remember when I was in high school up there, we used to head up to the Muckleshoot Reservation and get everything we ever wanted, then "hide" our loot in our cars and bring them back into Kent/Covington where we lived to light them off. Lol. Good times.
