Maine Red Snappers - My Favorite Gas Station Treat

Whenever I go to Maine I have to get a steamed Red Snapper at the Big Apple gas station. Natural casing has a nice snap.

When I was a kid we used to ride our bikes to the store and buy a pack of these dogs then go to the beach and build a fire out of driftwood, spit them on sticks, and have an awesome lunch.

Never had those. But being that they are in the hot dog family, they gotta be good. Love the beach lunch idea too. Yum.

+2 on the beach fire, we had a place on Georgian bay and that was Sat night at sunset, driftwood fire and dawgs watching the sun disappear into the water. I do miss it.
