    Bacon wrapped meatloaf.

    Took a shot at some smoked meatloaf for the first time on Father's Day. Did a basic recipe, using green peppers, onions, 1/4 cup of rub, and 1/4 cup of Mak's Honey Stinger sauce for the meatloaf. Wrapped the meatloaf log in bacon, sprinkled with some rub from Savory Spice Shop. Cooked for an hour on Mak's smoke mode @ 170 degrees, then upped the temp to 240 degrees until finished. Brushed with some home made bbq sauce about 40 minutes prior to finishing.

    All in all, it was a success. When my barely-a-meat-eating oldest daughter loved it, it's a win.

    I do have to get better at taking photos and pretty-ing up the presentation for photos. But for right now I'm just trying to get the cooking right!!!
