This may be a dessert, or it may be a breakfast treat. Either way. If this isn't on your bucket list, it should be...
INGREDIENTS
1 Roll Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls with frosting included
1/2 pound of bacon
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup, mixed cinnamon & sugar
oil for frying
Unroll each cinnamon roll halfway and cut it, rolling them back up to make small rolls.
Make the frosting... In a small bowl, mix the included frosting with the maple syrup until it's well combined.
Cut the bacon strips in half, and wrap each mini-roll with one, half strip of bacon. Make sure that all of the bacon on each roll is secured with a toothpick.
In a medium pot, heat up approximately 3" of oil.
Fry the rolls in small batches (3-5 at a time)until they are golden, puffed, and firm on all sides.
Place on a rack to cool/drain, and sprinkle with the cinnamon/sugar combo while they're still warm.
Once cool, remove the toothpicks, and drizzle with the frosting glaze.
There you have it: Bacon-fried cinnamon rolls.
