I was waiting for a sale, and they obliged over the 4th!
I’ve ordered all the hot sauces many times, I use them like other people use Tabasco, or Frank’s. Those are for teething babies. What I like about Melinda’s is that they aren’t interested in winning any hottest sauce contests; they want to taste good first, then bring the crazy heat. I haven’t tried the others yet.
Just took a finger squirt of the habanero honey mustard; nice and sweet and hot, good balance!
Oh hell, while I’m at it... the pizza sauce is nice, think sriracha with oregano. The peri peri is interesting, very citrusy. I bet it would rock on Blasphemy Ribs.
Not going to try the butter chicken sauce. Ill wait until I make butter chicken.
They have about half of those varieties of Melindas at the grocery store I shop at. They’re pretty good and those ones I haven’t tried look good. I’m a fan of peri peri sauce, but haven’t seen that one.
Looks like some fun ahead. I used to use Melindas as my all around hot sauce but have since transitioned to El Yucateco but with all those varieties I may have to revisit my old friend.
There's some interesting looking sauces there. Thanks for the tip. The store locator says they are available at Walmarts in my area. I'll have to check that out next time I brave the place.
